Light duty toggle latches are typically used in application where the load or force applied to the over centre latch is relatively low. All light duty toggle clips are available from either mild steel or stainless steel. The mild steel fasteners can be supplied in a natural finish or coated with either zinc plate and silver, blue / yellow passivate or a black electrophoretic paint finish. Alternatively, if you select the stainless steel option, these draw latches will be manufactured from type 304 stainless steel in a natural finish. The non-adjustable light duty toggle latches are rigid latches with no adjustment. They are non-adjustable and are frequently used with a variety of catchplates and keeper plates for secure fastening.
The Protex range of light duty adjustable toggle latches include a screw spindle which allows a maximum of 10mm adjustment for these fasteners. This feature provides the strength of a rigid fastener but also allows the tension to be set after fitting to the application.
